I ordered groceries for home delivery and it never arrived i have been to the store 5 times in the last week trying to get a refund and each time I'm told something different by Managers. It's been almost 2 weeks and i still have not got my refund.
Don't use Safeway for home delivery it's a scam

Hi I had a bad experience shopping here last night. I picked a bag of raw shrimp from a frozen display case. There were several options and I clearly remembered the price being under $12. When I used the self check out it rang up as $25.99. I called one of the clerks over and explained that this was not the price listed in the large sign above the Seafood Case. She was very argumentative and stated that the prices are never wrong. She simply scanned the barcode on the back of the bag of shrimp. I explained very calmly that I had previously experienced items ringing up for higher prices than what was advertised so this wasn’t the first time. She continued to be very argumentative. She never offered to go check the price herself or honor the advertised price which I suggested if in fact I was correct. I asked her to remove the item as I no longer wanted it at the $25.98 price.
I used to work in retail and that never would have been my response. I rang up some more items and another item didn’t seem to reflect the price I remembered. I went back to the Seafood case and took two pictures of the shrimp and the advertised price.
Long story short another sales clerk then assisted me. The original clerk had a total meltdown at the checkout area. Grabbing her head, throwing her hands up in the air, saying” I can’t deal with this right now”
I replied very calmly “ then you probably shouldn’t be working in a customer service position”
Three clerks and then the night manager needed to be called for an override to adjust the price to what was advertised. They had to call him three times. He appeared finally, never even acknowledged me or apologized for the inconvenience or for the fifteen minutes I spent trying to resolve this.
His unprofessional demeanor coupled with the argumentative clerk who had a meltdown and called security to stand there until I left was a very unpleasant experience and not how I expect to be treated as a customer.
I can shop at many stores. This is totally unacceptable customer service or professionalism. It wasn’t all that surprising after the final interaction with the night manager who of all people should have led by example.

Love the pharmacy! They do a bang up job. There is a young woman in front end with dark hair, a manager I think, she is very rude. I might not shop here anymore if she continues to be around. I experienced her ugliness again yesterday.

I love this store. There is, however, a very unpleasant young woman who works up front, maybe a supervisor. She is very rude every time I come in. I do not want to shop anymore if she is working. I get all my meds and groceries from here but she was so ugly to me yesterday am rethinking where I shop.
