  I ordered groceries for home delivery and it never arrived i have been to the store 5 times in the last week trying to get a refund and each time I'm told something different by Managers. It's been almost 2 weeks and i still have not got my refund. Don't use Safeway for home delivery it's a scam

  Today at about lunch time,I went to the kingsgate store at 124th ST and bought a few member price berries. I had problems with self-service checkout. I needed help, so a middle-aged lady clerk with short curly hair came to help. I didn’t know why she was so impatient to help. Later when I needed help again, she knew I needed help but she simply stood away and didn’t help me. Her attitude made me a bad experience in Safeway.

  I'm not one to post a rating, but the Pharmacists and staff were not only kind & helpful but fast and efficient. 5 stars 🌟 Well done.

  The service and staffing in the deli are terrible! One person working at 3PM in the afternoon, and that single person decided to discuss her vacation plans with the customer in front of me, for about 5 minutes. Then she ignored me, and helped a person who had been standing there for about 30 seconds.

  Man at self-check refused to honor advertised price (tag was expired by 1 day, but still in place). Was rude during the entire conversation. I even took a picture of it, and when I showed it to him, and then I zoomed out to show him that it was the same product, he said “well, don’t zoom out” in a rude tone. He still refused after pointing out that the dash was one day expired. When I said “ so you’re not going to honor the price?”, he abruptly said “ I shouldn’t have to” and turned and walked away. I left without buying the item. Maybe he was flustered from the conversation that he had just had with another customer where there was confusion about prices of oranges. The way he was handling things, you would think that he owned the store and that people were trying haggle him out of hundreds of dollars. I hope that this man is glad that he saved safeway $1.68, and simultaneously earned a negative review and a disappointed costumer. Honoring the price shown on the tag is customer service 101, as is politeness. This man failed miserably at both (and he’s not a new employee).
