I purchased the Shrimp Cooked 51–60 Count Tail On (Previously Frozen) from this Safeway yesterday, planning to cook it for my child. Unfortunately, the shrimp had a strong spoiled smell as soon as I opened the package. I never thought I can bought a rotten product in Safeway.
What made the experience worse is that their online customer service does not handle refunds for in-store purchases. Unlike Fred Meyer, which can process issues more conveniently, Safeway requires customers to drive back to the store just to request a refund. Very inconvenient and disappointing.
I hope the store improves its product quality control and offers a more customer-friendly solution for food safety issues.

I went in to get a bottle of Jameson. There were 3 other customers shopping who were looking but indecisive. So i pressed the button to summon daniel. Who grabbed my bottle and instead of walking said item to the front, forced me to wait until other shoppers who didn’t even know what they wanted yet, to finish shopping. He had no sense of urgency did not care that I was ready to pay and other shoppers didn’t even know what they wanted. Was more concerned with his knowledge of brandy than a paying customer. Inconsiderate to say the least. I didn’t know it was normal to force a customer who already has items and is ready to pay to wait for other customers to finish shopping. I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.

Lady that works in the flower department at this store buys all of the pokemon cards from the vending machine while she is on the clock and re sells them on ebay and facebook. Scalper activity. Not sure who to complain to. As a collector it is frustrating when things like this happen.
