His name was Eric and I appreciate him going the extra mile and helping me👍🙂

It is routine to see basic items like the cheapest bag of coffee priced at $17 or more, with no meaningful justification in quality or service. Staffing is consistently inadequate. There is rarely more than one checkout attendant working at any given time, leading to unnecessary lines and a reliance on self-checkout. There are also virtually no floor employees available to help customers locate items or answer questions. The parking lot only adds to the frustration. It is rigid, uneven, and poorly maintained, making both driving and walking through it unpleasant. At these prices, customers should expect premium service and a well-maintained property. What Safeway currently offers is neither.
