Had to return a couple items that did not work out. I asked the cashier for a stapler or tape to keep my receipts in order and she didn't have any, but one of the workers coming up from behind and hearing said "oh you need a stapler?" and he went back to customer service and brought it and stapled my papers together. His name was Eric and I appreciate him going the extra mile and helping me👍🙂

They didn’t let me into the store even though there were still 6 minutes left before closing. I needed to buy tea, honey, and throat lozenges. This is poor customer service. I will not be shopping at this store anymore.

Safeway has become wildly overpriced, even by local standards. It is routine to see basic items like the cheapest bag of coffee priced at $17 or more, with no meaningful justification in quality or service. Staffing is consistently inadequate. There is rarely more than one checkout attendant working at any given time, leading to unnecessary lines and a reliance on self-checkout. There are also virtually no floor employees available to help customers locate items or answer questions. The parking lot only adds to the frustration. It is rigid, uneven, and poorly maintained, making both driving and walking through it unpleasant. At these prices, customers should expect premium service and a well-maintained property. What Safeway currently offers is neither.
