- STSomeNames TakenMar 27, 20261.0I was just in tonight. I rounded a corner and ran into a shady-looking guy with a Pittbull. When I told him to get his dog out of here he threatened me. I flagged down a staff member and she seemed almost bored about it. I told her that she needed to get a manager immediately and she ignored it. Instead of demanding that this dude leave they let him check out. Don't bring your kids or your family here. They might get mauled by a pittbull.

But every time I come, the store has changed for the worse. Having a security guard who stands at the door and presses a button to let you through a one-way gate is absolutely ridiculous. Might as well have a sign outside that says “we hate the poor.” I will be driving the extra couple miles to go to Grocery Outlet or Winco going forward.

Recently, after 2020, I experience extreme anxiety in this store. There are little things that are not upkept.The most important is expiration dates. I think the store has some type of AI software or I look like someone they have down as a retail thief due to my experience here since 2020. The last time I was here I felt extra discomfort and I cannot put my finger on it. I don't mind that there is security, that there are cameras everywhere, I don't mind the receipt check at checkout. The employees I've talked to have been polite professional and friendly etc. I am grateful that this store is here since both the nearby Fred Meyers, Walgreens and Rite Aid closed. I don't know what that thing is here but I will do my best to keep avoiding this Safeway until the atmosphere in the area changes. Maybe it's just me.
