For this location you need to check expiration dates on everything. I lost count the many times ive seen products on the shelves that expired. Im not talking about things like bread but things like hard taco shells. Also a lil while ago I was checking out the meat near the pharmacy and this lady at the counter where you drop off scripts asked if I wanted a shingles shot out of the blue. I said no thanks as i was grocery shopping but she kept insisting I get one. I felt so put off by her that it made me leave without getting what I was looking for in the meat dept. Parking sucks, so many homeless and drug addicts doing the fent fold right in front of the front doors, beggers asking for $ to the point you kinda have to step over the druggies to get inside. Due to rite aid, walgreens and fred meyers closing i dont have a choice but to use their pharmacy.

The pharmacy is a joke they refuse to tell me instructions about my medication even if I asked numerous times...the men that check my receipt there is an African and I believe Arabic man my bad if race is wrong but they keep asking me if I need a ride home and if they can get my number...I told the African finally after so long of asking that he needs to leave me alone now he keeps wanting to check my bag if he ask again my attorney will be involved because I refuse to be falsely accused and Patricia that be in the liquor area calls me names like a drunk or a black alcoholic and I feel stereotyped just for wanting to buy something once on a while. She laughs at me when I ask just to get me something then says your kind love to drink...like really? I miss Fred Meyers

My husband and I made a quick stop here for my husband to use the restroom after driving for an hour on the freeway. The moment he went and asked an employee if there were restrooms, the employee said there are restrooms but not for public use. My husband is diabetic and with his blood sugars high at the time makes him need to use the restroom more frequently than the average person. My husband asked if he bought something from the store if that will allow him to use the bathroom. The employee told him no. My husband had to walk all the way across the parking lot to the Taco Bell to use the bathroom. I get that there are druggies and sketchy people around that area, but I feel as though with someone who has a disability (yes diabetes are considered a disability) should be exempt from the rest. Please do better with your customers Kent Safeway.

The cash register employees are nice but I came here at 10 PM just for the most vital parts of the store to be closed which was over 60% of the store. The entire refrigerator section was closed off for mopping, Do this closer to closing time!! 2 hours before is outrageous.

This happened today. Very disappointing and humiliating experience today at Safeway while working as a DoorDash driver. I was completing a shopping order for a customer when an undercover loss prevention employee - hispanic he started following me around the store. At first I ignored it, but it became obvious that he was specifically targeting me. I politely explained that I was a DoorDash driver and even showed him the order on my phone as proof that I was working. Despite this, he continued to follow me through multiple aisles, watching me closely and making me feel like I was being accused of stealing. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly felt like harassment. No one should have to deal with that while simply trying to do their job. DoorDash drivers help bring customers and revenue to these stores. Treating drivers like criminals even after they clearly identify themselves is unacceptable and disrespectful. Safeway needs to seriously train their loss prevention staff on how to treat people with basic professionalism and respect. No worker should feel targeted or harassed just for doing their job.
