My pick up time was 11:15. and I got a text later to pick up at 12 noon. I live less than 5 mins away from the resto. Everything is cold except the dinuguan & rice. I didn’t get sarsa for the lechon kawali and only vinegar. The veggie lumpia & turon are good, but again cold. I’d love a hot meal next time! 😌 The lady that bagged my orders was nice & friendly. 👍🏼👍🏼 Question: are points has expiration? I haven’t ordered in awhile and my 1000+ points is gone. 😢

With there being only a few Filipino cuisines in WA, I’m thankful for this establishment for their existence. I grew up with the Filipino culture for over half of my lifetime, and am familiar with their home cooked dishes/meals. Fil’s always brings me back to the comfort of that authentic home cooked feeling for Filipino food. Service is great and friendly, quality assured, and their price is fair. I always look forward to coming back.

I ordered for take out through door dash and i ordered the tapsilog and some turon. The tapsilog was so dry and they just gave me big pieces of meat that looked like it was just microwaved and was hard. The turon tasted like it was fried in oil meant for fish and tasted fishy! The garlic rice tasted like white rice and someone just sprinkled garlic on it!

Craving Filipino food in Washington has honestly been tough. We’ve tried several spots and haven’t been impressed. While staying at a hotel, we asked the Filipino staff where they go for Filipino food—most said the local options aren’t great, but one person specifically recommended Fil Cuisine in Kent. We had been to the other Fil Cuisine location twice and were disappointed both times, so expectations were cautious. This visit started off strong, though. We were greeted right away by an amazing waitress—friendly, funny, and very upfront. She warned us that regular portions are already massive and family size would be super-sized. She was absolutely right. When the food came out, we were shocked by how large the portions were. The waitress came back with a playful “I told you so,” which made us laugh. Food-wise, it was hit or miss: - Ginisang munggo was delicious—my husband finished the entire bowl. - Mixed pancit was bland; definitely squeeze lemon and add more seasoning. - Pork adobo fried rice tasted like garlic fried rice—no real adobo flavor. Good garlic rice. - Papaitan was Tagalog-style (no bile or liver) and was pretty good. Its intentional flavored is intended to taste sour which I like. - Ube halaya came out fresh and hot and was excellent = ube fudge. - Hot tea turned out to be chamomile, which we didn’t expect and didn’t enjoy. We had plenty of leftovers to take back to the hotel. Several dishes needed condiments or seasoning help since flavors were muted. Easy fix so no worries. The restaurant itself is spacious, comfortable, and great for big families. Our waitress was attentive and funny. Décor is inviting, and the ladies who came out from the kitchen to check on us were friendly and chatty. We try to support local businesses, and while this isn’t a slam dunk for flavor, the service, portions, and welcoming atmosphere make it worth trying—as long as expectations are managed.
