I bought 2 orders of the 12 piece chicken only containers. You can buy a side of 6 tortillas for $1.99.
The staff person quickly double checked the back kitchen, then said "Ok, 2 orders thigh and drumsticks!". I only waited no more than 15 minutes for my order number to be ready! Now be aware that the drive-thru is constantly busy. So I parked and ordered inside. There was plenty of parking. My visit was on a Saturday, 5pm.

My pple ,this location is Tops!! Customer service is great, very welcoming, clean restaurant pple all go there to enjoy a nice meal with their fans, the chicken is cooked great really crispy, Mac is awesome, honestly reminds me of what the old recipes were like back in the early 2000s.

That chicken was so burnt, super dry. Worst chicken ever. The Pico de gallo tasted and smelled spoiled SO NASTY! I get Pollo Loco everytime I go to California but this Washington location was definitely not it !
The green salsa was amazing tho! And the employees were super friendly! Definitely not going to the Washington location again.
I wouldn’t recommend unless you like burnt dry chicken and spoiled pico de gallo.

Disclaimer I love El Pollo loco and have been eating it for 20 years. When I found out there was one in Washington I had to visit. I was disappointed by the experience. While the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly the food severely missed the mark.of the 4 pieces of chicken I purchased 3 were dry to slightly burnt. There was only 1 piece of chicken that was actually moist and delicious the rest had clearly been cooking far too long. While I may eventually try this location again because everyone can have an off day, this was definitely a bad first impression.

I am a Californian, I ate a lot of El Pollo Loco, the Celantro dressing was still good thank you! But seriously what the heck was that??? The chicken was seriously over cooked, even the skin didn’t have any of the flavors I am used to. If that’s what you’re cooking now days as an El Pollo Loco, I would say your business is going to fail, however these poor Washingtonians have no clue what it’s supposed to taste like. The Tables were clean though. I am very disappointed.
