- EHEmma Hopkins1 day ago1.0I’ll preface this by saying I’m someone who has extensive experience in food and customer service, so understand and empathize with the stresses that come with the industry. That being said, today may be the first time I’ve encountered a contentious employee at a Dutch Bros. At the window we were given the wrong size for a drink. Not a big deal, but we asked if we had been charged for the larger size, asked if we could have the drink in a smaller cup as it was for a child, and confirmed that we’d be refunded the difference. The employee, who I can infer was either a lead or manager, seemed a bit rude, but I chalked it up to maybe she was having a tough day and let it go. I hadn’t had tasted my drink until I got to my destination and noticed it had zero flavor. Ok, things happen, but I was not in a position to immediately drive back and as DB has always been really understanding I figured it’d be no issue to swing back by as soon as I was done (about an hour). We explained what happened to an employee in the drive thru, they were helpful, and offered to have the drink remade. As we were waiting in line the same employee/manager from when we first came by came out to our car and their immediate demeanor was defensive and dismissive. As she was arguing back and forth about replacing the drink I flat out asked her if they were just having a stressful day because even the interaction from earlier was off, and it was only then when she changed her tune and became agreeable, yet still repeatedly told us we had to come back immediately next time (there will not be a next time). The entire interaction was so uncomfortable, weird, and unprofessional.

The short, heavyset Hispanic girl ruined our relationship with this location. Refusing to give her name, showing her anger at customers for asking what they actually paid for.

We’ve decided to focus on what we do best - serving up awesome drinks, creating genuine connections at the window and giving back to our communities! That means we’re stepping away from offering DutchWear to our customers. You’ll still be able to buy coffee and drinkware on our website, which may occasionally offer a few surprises!
Can I buy stickers?
We’re not selling stickers anymore! Stop by your local shop the first Wednesday of every month for a Sticker Drop! You can now also earn App Stickers through the Dutch Bros app! Download to see which stickers are available to you!
Can I print a digital gift card and give it as a gift?
We recommend purchasing our IRL Gift Cards if you want to give something physical!
How do I earn points?
It’s easy! Collect 3 points for each dollar you spend at a shop, and there’s no limit to how many you can earn!
Can I still get points if I forgot my phone?
We hate when that happens! If you ever forget your phone, just give your broista your phone number, and you’ll earn the points. Unfortunately, we won't be able to issue points for past purchases unless you snag a receipt and email it to us.
Can I customize my drink?
Yes, our broistas are always happy to make any drink the way you’d like!
Can I place my drink order over the phone?
We aren’t able to take drink orders over the phone, but we’re excited to serve you! Don’t let our long lines fool you - we'll get your favorite drink to you as quickly as possible!
Can I apply more than once?
You can only apply once to each location! To follow up on an application, please swing by and check in with your local broistas!
Can I still customize my drink through Order Ahead?
We'd love to customize your drink the way you want, so you can definitely make your usual customizations when ordering ahead! If you have a particularly creative order, or enjoy a cold pour, we recommend ordering your drink at the shop so your broista can get it just right.
