An when I had pointed out that there was a mistake on my receipt she not only apologized for the mistake an admitted that she had gave me info that was wrong an told me that she will fix the issue right away and even gave me a choice of ways I cld get the issue fixed. An it was late at night an I know sometimes when you go night shopping a lot of places have people working that cldnt cut it during the day or just not people person or outgoing/joyful employees so it was really nice to have someone help me checkout that seemed to at least act like she enjoyed her job or jus enjoyed interacting with the customer. An not to over share but as I sat down on the bus to head home I realized I had left my Starbucks coffee mug at the checkout station I had used (32$MUG!) An so when I called an chose the # I needed to talk to someone in customer service she picked up an reassured me that she had my mug an wld make sure my name was on it an I cld pick it up in the lost an found. So honestly I probably wldnt go back to this Safeway to shop if it wasn't for the lady at self checkout. She made up for the disasterous layout of the store. If Safeway knew how valuable the mistery lady they shld give her a huge pay raise!!!!!

We spend thousands of dollars per month at this place. I will say, I'm obsessed with Safeways bakery items. Their *strawberry & rhubarb pie* is PHENOMENAL! It's so bomb! Best pie I've ever had. Their pastries, cookies and breads are by far better than any other grocery store by far. This strawberry and rhubarb pie is the best in the state in my opinion. I use self checkout basically 100% of the time bc I'm always on the go. I wanted to share a very positive experience I recently had with *Crystal* and have had since shopping here. The woman who runs self-checkout, (this was this past Tuesday night At 9:30 p.m.) I always see her at the store and have for a long time. She always is highly professional, always has a smile on her face, and goes out of her way to make every customer's life easier, and their day a little bit happier. Like I said I've shopped here for a long, long time. My wife and I have lived in Kenmore heights neighborhood (1 minute from Kenmore elementary & Tabs bar), and have for many years. I am a contractor and founder of a recovery non profit organization. I completely understand that I don't know every single employee at this store, but I have come across most workers by now. Honestly, by far, she stands out and shines compares to the majority of other workers there. My wife has worked in corporate retail as a regional manager for 10 years, and used to work at a local store. I am very familiar with what a great store employee looks like. She (Crystal) is always great with customer service, she is always very helpful with navigating issues with the Safeway App (it wasn't giving me the discounts properly, she honored it which I really appreciated). She should, at the very least, be *managing her own store*. She has regional manager & upper management/corporate in her future for sure. Thanks Crystal, for always making shopping a more pleasant experience. You are a blessing in more ways than you realize.
