However, I was really miffed today when I walked in and the gal behind the counter was completely oblivious and continued talking to the customer ahead of me. I waited patiently for about 5 minutes, while she continued chatting with the customer (who already had his ice cream and had paid). It was only when another family walked in that she ended the conversation. Again, she was completely unaware that I was there and started helping the other family. I let her know I had been waiting, but was so irritated I just ended up leaving.
