Just a quaint little McDo right off the beaten path. 1st time there and had no issue other than the fairly common problem of a locked bathroom. Not their fault. Staff is courteous and seemed like they vibe with each other. Store inside and out was clean. Will come back.

McDonald's has forgotten that they are fast food, not gourmet 5-star Michelin dining. Their prices are out of control. Not just this location, all of them. Almost $8 for a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit is ridiculous. Denny's is next door and the food is cheaper and better.

It was a cold, rainy February afternoon. President's day. 2 days after yet another empty Valentine's day and a week after a victorious Superbowl for the area, but since I only sport when my friends are sporting I did not watch the game, which brings us back to the holiday that perhaps best encasuplates empty gestures - President's day. A holiday that knows no set date nor truly recognizes a particular president, just loosely averages 2 of the supposed honest presidents. Let me tell you something about Abe Lincoln. I...probably would have liked him, while finding oddly personal things to be simultaneously relateable yet disappointing as to his charcter AND the man could paint a rather realistic door. Towards the end of his life anyway. Really. If you were only mildly distracted or the lighting were just right, you'd reach for the doorknob only to be finding yourself scuffing his paint on a wall. His paint. Made his own. Didn't care for linseed oil though, preferred Walnut. You might think he painted them as a sort of joke. You'd be wrong. He was quite serious about the whole thing. The final one was quite something to behold. And it was the worst thing he has ever done that has impacted me directly. I had a chicken sandwich which I purchased with my rewards points. An empty lunch, paid for with an empty wallet on an empty day thinking of what now lies behind that door for me and most of us...nothing.

The manager’s gotta chill out on the whole sending people through the drive-thru line to wait at a parking spot to artificially lower the time per customer. It’s very obvious that’s what they’re doing when there’s nobody behind and 3 cars go through to wait for no reason. Making the workers do more back and forth walking than a basketball drill.
