  The male worker at self checkout tonight (4/24/26 around 7:15pm) was completely rude. He helped ring up my sweet potatoes, which didn’t seem right because it was $4 for ONE potato (they are less than $2 at Whole Foods). I was confused and politely asked him if that rang up correctly. His response, “well, it’s an expensive store” in a snarky and rude tone. I usually like shopping here and the staff is typically nice, but he needs some customer service training. Not his fault the potatoes are over priced but he was incredibly rude when I asked if they rang up correctly because that price is unheard of?

  Bright and clean store with beautiful vegetable displays and lovely plants and flower/herb starter packs at the entrance

  I couldn't believe how easy it was to order my groceries online and then pick them up when they were ready! This was a great convenience, and one I'll use again when I need to.

  This is one of the tightest grocery stores, you will never see an ice cream sale worth entertaining, Safeway, which is also a large conglomerate same type that owns this chain has plenty of ice cream sales, not here, something unremarkable happens when you don't have an ice cream sale, people don't buy ice cream, which explains that half of your ice cream display freezers have their lights burned out .. no one notices it cause inventory stays the same. now you could've profited four cents or $.10 or even a dollar for those customers but no you choose to make zero

  I know it’s not a locally owned small grocer but the lack of customer service isn’t something I expected in this town. Only Vesper seems to have a clue how to engage with a customer. I’ll look for Vesper every time i check out. They make me feel valued and welcome. Just because Haggen is the only game in town doesn’t mean they should be allowed to lack in service.
