The young woman with curly hair in a bun assisting customers was extremely rude to the couple in front of us. When the woman’s significant other attempted to order, the employee rolled her eyes and spoke to them in a dismissive, disrespectful tone. Unfortunately, the same behavior continued when it was our turn. My sister and I were polite and used our manners throughout the interaction, yet the employee responded as if we were an inconvenience. Her tone and body language made it seem like she did not want to be at work, which made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. This behavior completely ruined the experience for us. Customer service is a major part of dining out, and situations like this make customers hesitant to return. If this employee is working, I would not choose to come back, as the negative interaction overshadowed the entire visit.

On top of that, they sometimes insert a thermometer into the food with bare hands, without wearing gloves. I can’t help but think about how many saliva droplets and unhygienic bacteria might be mixing into my food. Chipotle has had issues with foodborne illness in the past, so I don’t understand why such basic hygiene standards are not being followed. I sincerely ask the managers to take immediate action. Please ensure proper hygiene so customers can feel safe and confident when receiving their food.
