  No longer allows backpacks in store, so my Seattle commute doesn't fit the store anymore. Most stores would get more security, but sadly this store prefers to alienate their paying customers.

  For what this Safeways employees have to endure every day with the certainly unique clientele that comes through the doors the deserve statues placed in the parking lot for all to see

  Wife Was over charged on these packs of chicken while I was at home making dinner she ran to store to get more to have enough... employee "adjusted" the price by .06 cents which was way off closer to $5.50 over... wife got frustrated with worker and came home... so I had to go correct issue... well I got there and I found employee wife described who helped her explained issue and she tried to buck back but soon realized I AINT THE ONE!!! She finally realized the over charge and called manager... called again.... and called one last time.... I had been there about 10 min at this point... another worker in black collared shirt told employee make it right since Mgr was mia... I believe manager name was Sheri or Teri .... I'm just gona say AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE .... found elsewhere.... oh and just to add GET BENT ON ASKING ME FOR MY RECEIPT WHEN LEAVING YOU AINT COSTCO AND YOUR POLICY WASNT IN YOUR PROTOCOL WHEN ESTABLISHED... I NEVER SIGNED A CONTRACT TO SHOP THERE SO GET BENT ASKING ME.... I DONT HAVE TO STEAL FOR MY GROCERIES...

  Went in today around 3 pm to do some light grocery shopping. My cashier today was Debora and she is always pleasant. Her checkout lane was located right in front of the entrance next to the young man checking receipts. After I make my payment I head for the exit, the young man that is checking receipts is busy with another patron so I still head out knowing he seen me in line with the cashier paying for my groceries. I know he’s seen me because we literally made eye contact while I was checking out. So as I’m exiting he proceeds to holler at me to check my receipt and this is where I’m annoyed. One, he saw me pay for my groceries and now I feel like he’s on some sort of power trip. I told him I knew he saw me pay for my groceries and he then made a snide remark. It’s one thing if I did self check out but I was literally in front of him paying. There’s doing your job then there’s just going over board on a power trip. And this moment was definitely uncalled for. This isn’t the first unpleasant experience within the two last months that I’ve had with staff at this location. That has been completely unprovoked and unprofessional. Just because your staff has to deal with the usual riff raff of this location does not mean that your staff should be taking out their frustrations on PAYING customers. You’re better off taking your hard earned money down the street to QFC.

  This location is very conveniently close to me. So much so, I pop in for a few things several days in a row or every other day or two. The team who work the closing shift are awesome! Great personalities! Always treat me and others with respect while maintaining professionalism. The two times I ever had to exchange an item due to quality, I have been able to do so with my reciept in hand. Each time, I was immediately met with understanding and without hassle. I subscribe to Fresh Pass. When I converse with fellow shoppers, many have never heard of it! It does cost $12.99 plus tax per month for the subscription. If you recieve food assistance you qualify for a 50% discount on this monthly fee. It is awesome and a great deal for the value, in my opinion! Rewards member points do not expire when you have Fresh Pass. If you don't drive and don't use fuel points you can look in the rewards section on the app and trade points for free available items offered or discount off next purchase. First category starts off listing 100 pts. trade in and goes up by 100 point increments. You will find more desirable items in the subsequent categories as you the points value increases. You can trade in points with or without fresh pass. But Fresh Pass offers more boujy items on the lists than a standard award member. Fresh Pass also gives you special offers where you can accumulate points much quicker and save a lot more money. Extra discounts on Safeway store brand products every month. You especially save more checking out app before hand and clipping the digital coupons and just for you deals before hand. I'm not an extreme couponer, but everytime I am at checkout, when it starts subtracting all the extra savings off my purchase the screen will fill up at least once or twice with the numerous extra savings; significantly lowering my grand total. It is a thrill watching $avings being dramatically shaved off; dwindling the purchase total before your eyes! This month my purchase before any discounts was close to $400. Grand total after all discounts was $160. I know it's not rocket science, but I've talked to fellow shoppers in the store who do not clip coupons on the app and never do. It easy, well worth it, and silly to pay full price all the time! Year to date savings as of 3/10/2026 is $379.93! But give it up for the hard working team at this store! I have always had a positive experience here!
