- WWWestonMar 24, 20261.0Prices at Safeway went through the roof after COVID and remained there after their failed merger with Kroger. It's bad enough we basically have a grocery duolopy in the PNW. I only shop here when I absolutely need to or I'm under a time constraint. They just installed those stupid one-way security gates probably as a theft protection measure. Here's an idea, maybe don't treat your customers like thieves and make your groceries affordable. Maybe if you didn't have a CEO sucking up all your profits you could actually do that and pay your employees well.

- PPprnolaMar 9, 20261.0I have always ordered my groceries here. Today is exactly the reason they lose so many customers to Amazon. I was missing a bag of all my Citrus produce and tomatoes and called to ask about it and she told me that she bagged all my produce together. I said well I have my strawberries so why don’t I have the rest. She said well I pack the strawberries separately and there’s nothing she can do for me. She accused me of yelling which I was not so I asked to speak to the manager and she hung up. It was clear to me accusing me of yelling was her way to justify hanging up on me. This is how they treat people that regularly place orders and have absolutely no history or reporting anything missing. I’ve had issues with online ordering before. They always say they don’t have something then I go in and find it only for them to seem surprised and ask me where I found that because they have looked everywhere. I have always told them no worries. I will never be shopping at this store again especially since they just stole from me.
