While I was on the phone with the customer, they told me they had called the store to let them know I was waiting. Apparently, the manager hung up on them and then made fun of them right after. Great leadership example, right? To top it off, the order I’d been waiting on was literally sitting right behind the counter the entire time, well within sight but out of reach. The store itself was an absolute mess — garbage on the floor, overflowing trash bins, and no sign that anyone had cleaned all day. I’ve worked in the food industry for nearly 15 years, so I completely understand that things can get hectic. But this was beyond that — it was pure disorganization and unprofessionalism. Completely unacceptable experience from start to finish.
