I went to Safeway as I needed to buy some of their Seed and Nut bread I can't get anywhere else. While there I also purchased a couple of pastries and a piece of fried chicken from the deli. The chicken is prepared in the deli and it is delicious. The seasoning is very good. The bread is my favorite for sandwiches and toast. The pastries were fresh. Prices, just like everywhere now, are pretty high but not out of line with other stores in the area. The service in the deli was quick and pleasant. I used the self checkout and the person overseeing the area was helpful. The atmosphere was homey and pleasant as you walk into the store. The parking lot was clean and easy to park. The interior lighting was bright but not glaring. I like the store and will go back.

No need for a new Grant county jail, they’ve opened the second location at this Safeway. The person who runs the store, Aaron, even has face tattoos and horrible customer service. Witnessing her talk down to her colleagues put a really bad taste in my mouth. I asked if I could speak with the manager on their behalf and they told me as she was the manager ?!?! The employees hate their lives and I can see why. It’s like they choose their management by who has the most felonies. Bathrooms are atrocious. Someone helped me with my groceries, Zack, they were nice.

Terrible customer service. Called for my mother in law to get ahold of the pharmacy and no one will answer. Customer service says that they won't answer if there's a line in the store and to just come down. However my mother in law lives 30 miles from here and it is not easy for her to get back and forth. The day before the hospital said they sent the prescription and we waited 40 mins for the safeway pharmacy to tell us they didnt have her prescription and is exactly the reason why we are calling to confirm so we don't waste more of our time.
