This beautiful heavy timber mid-mountain lodge is located at the top of the Forest Queen Express chairlift at 6,250 feet in elevation. The lodge was built in 2004 and features artwork by Warren Miller who was the guest speaker at the grand opening. The lodge highlights an upscale food court with diverse food stations including fresh stone-fired pizza – combined with mountain views out of every window. Open for lunch during the ski season.

    Both better food and cheaper than typical US ski lodge fare, $14 for a decent size soup bowl or mac and cheese as of Feb 2024. Nice setting. Flip side, very crowded. Questionable etiquette with people grabbing tables way before they have some food.
