- MAMike Anderson2 days ago1.0Service is always spotty at the University Way Subway in Ellensburg, but last night was the worst service I have ever experienced. I have had the young gal there before and she is usually somewhat rude, but last night was something else. Don't get me started on how unclean the produce containers looked. The lettuce was browning and the spinach was wet like it had been there awhile. When she was fixing my sandwich she slammed it down like she was pissed she even had to take our order. After she finished with each section she would slam the lids down hard and smile at us. She kept asking rudely "Anything Else" and then would slam the lids down again. She even picked the lid up and slammed it down for no reason at all while I was paying. She just smiled at me and said rudely again "Anything Else". She never did say thank you and just started talking to a bunch of her friends that were in there. We are in our 60s and the only thing I think is she did not like the Navy Hat I was wearing. I can tell you if this is the way Subway treats Veterans I will not be eating there anymore!
