I always check the Pokémon vending machine, which releases product on a timer and at random. One day I checked it, saw nothing, grabbed my groceries, and within two minutes an employee on break was already at the machine, busy deciding to buy the 42 packs that had just appeared. He ended up purchasing all of them and told me he collects them as an investment. The Safeway itself is great, and the employees including him are always very kind. It was just disappointing. The machine is usually sold out, mostly because the employees are Pokémon fans. I get it, but it still feels unfair.
