I’m not the type of person to write a negative review. I am really bummed because was a month ago. I purchased one of the Christmas trees from the produce department and it is completely dead and now I have to throw it away. I called to inquire to see if there’s anything I can do since I spent over $30 on it, let me know to throw them away because they had died. It doesn’t make sense to tell the customer that there’s nothing you can do but they had to throw them away themselves. I just wish there was something that we could do because now I have to deal with a dead tree

On Friday the 11/14 I was going through self checkout and the clerk/cashier at the self checkout forced herself in-between the register and me. I was wearing shorts and I have a prosthetic leg so physically inserting herself the way she did is a good way to knock someone like me over. She then acted like the register was having an issue that she had to fix. What she was actually doing was filling out the customer survey on the card reader so she could give a 10/10. I don't know if she thinks I'm stupid, or that I couldn't see what she was doing, but I could clearly see. On top of the fact that she is by far the rudest staff member I've had encounters with there (I'm in this Safeway almost every day), I absolutely would not have given this store a 10/10 rating. I worked grocery for many years and I pay close attention to staffs habits at my local stores. Products don't get rotated properly when stocked, and there is a major problem with staff leaving pallet jacks, U-boats and various other objects blocking access for people with disabilities. The produce section typically has 3 or more of such things blocking paths at any given time in the evening. If I had left any one of those objects blocking customers access while I was off somewhere else I would have been written up. I have had to move produce carts, pallet jacks, unopened shipping displays, and u boats many times to be able to get access to things, people with more severe disabilities are unable to do this. This never happens in other Safeway's. Leaving a pallet jack out around a corner is a good way to break someone's ankle, it is also an OSHA violation. I had to write an accessibility audit for my disability studies class and this store flagrantly blocking access is what I wrote about. My philosophy so far has been to not leave negative reviews because someone would eventually notice. Considering your staff is now going as far as forcing me out of the way to put in fraudulent reviews I will now be sure to leave the lowest possible review whenever possible. Your staff needs to stop being lazy and put their equipment in the back when it is not being used.

Spotless restroom! Cleanliness level: Godliness!
Arrived a little too early to use the male restroom, a young male practicing the custodial arts informed me availability was in 5 min. or less.
3 min. Later, perfection...
