Very high priced not a huge selection and they're t -bone steaks taste like card board Terrible to pay $25 for a steak and feed it to your dogs, even next to the bone my favorite place to naugh on was worthless. Unless it's on sale you will pay more. Bakery is awful but I must admit most store bakeries don't make donuts like they made when I was a kid and it makes you wonder about cookies with so many ingredients you can't even pronounce. I thought chocolate chip cookies had flour,sugar ,vanilla, eggs etc not a paragraph of chemicals and stabilizers. The new world we live in take me back to the 70 s. Lots of people shop there so this is only my opinion. Staff seems friendly but they could use more.

Sometimes the staff can be a little snooty sometimes they can be great. Flower department is good. Bakery is good. Produce is always fresh. I just feel like I'm fighting for my life walking through the aisles if there is anyone else there. And it's always super busy and never enough cashiers.

Stop circling the parking lot trying to find the absolutely closet spot, all the while backing up cars trying to pull in or leave during peak shopping times. And dear lord, if you have the biggest pickup truck ever made and think you need everyone to see just how cool you are by holding up other vehicles and forcing them to spectate your awesomeness as demonstrated through you reversing into a parking spot near the front, you don't, it's ok. Pro tip, if you can't do it by the third try, it's not the compact vehicles parked neatly on either side out to get you with their amazing fuel economy and practicality out to thwart your day... it's you and your ridiculously oversized monstrosity that rarely, if ever, serves a practical or utilitarian purpose. All this to say, for everyone, park near the back (it literally should only take you less than 20 seconds, and this way as you make that grueling 30 second slow walk to the entrance, you will have used this time to get in a few extra steps in your day. So, now with the only notable grievance resolved, this Safeway is awesome and the people who shop here (99% of them) are your neighbors and community members. Even if you own a big truck, I'm just having some harmless fun, because at least it's not a Smart Car.
