We were staying in a hotel close by, so this place was a convenient option for coffee. We ordered two Americanos with honey and half & half. This is a common order for us. The person who took our order didn’t seem confused by my order or ask any questions to clarify my request so I was surprised to see that we were charged extra for breve. I didn’t even know what that meant and had to look it up. Apparently, the barista (same person who took our order) decided half & half meant that we wanted steamed milk and charged extra for it. She didn’t clarify what we wanted. I just wanted cold half & half added to the coffee after it was made. Guess she felt otherwise and profited from her decision. The coffee was fine. The atmosphere was cute and open.

The food is always quick, fresh, and delicious. Some of our favorites are the dirty fries for the kids, the pizzas, and the sandwiches. The owners are so kind and welcoming, and the space is beautiful — one of the only indoor/outdoor patios on the Plateau! We do wish they had a kids menu, but we make it work. Definitely give this place a try — you’ll end up coming back again and again!
