  Two asst managers woody and sherry not good people. Have treated me bad I've had. To report them to Safeway corporate on a few occasions.

  I dropped a prescription off at 9 AM this morning and told them I would be picking it up around noon. They said it would be ready at that time. I showed up at 5:30 PM and it was not ready. They told me I had to wait and when I questioned why my simple antibiotic prescription that have been there for the entire day was not ready the pharmacist was rude and dismissive and she said it had been a busy day. Then why when I dropped it off at 9 AM did you say it could be ready by noon? When she came to give the pharmacist OK because it was a new prescription she did not ask me if I wanted to know anything about it if I had any questions. She slapped the keyboard so hard I thought she might break it. Zero out of 10 interaction with someone who should be professional.

  I do NOT appreciate associate treating me like a liar! Do you k ow how many times safeways digital coupons do NOT work! Well it wouldnt work in the ben n jerrys and ROSHAUD in self service said you must have bought them and used it when I showed him my app!! Well been using it for how many years and I know I didnt since my town was going to glood and ive been in a hotel for 3 days and ill guess this coupon came effective Wednesday?!! He said ill do it for this one but you cant get your daughters 4 on sale since shes not here! Well we all know people do this and he basically called me a liar in my opinion and has the worst cus Service ive ever seen.. sorry yep with all the crap I buy your 7$ ice cream just might make you bankrupt if the app actually worked . Thank god I dont live in this area only work here and dont have to shop here again.I did support safeway but cs in ur self check out has lacked there but not south! Thanks for reaching out I removed the name as it shouldn’t follow someone but its been a hard week and kim not a liar and I got pretty upset. I am now over it and will probably remove most of this later.

  The two stars are thanks to the super-friendly cashier who tried his best to help me. I can’t say the same about the office employee. Approx. 7:30 pm on 12/7/2025, I went to Safeway planning to get vitamin water, some Nature Valley bars, and a couple of things. I am normally a Kroger customer (which is Fred Meyer in Bellingham) but was in the area and attracted to the nice storefront of this Safeway. I also thought it would be no problem to get a roll of quarters for laundry while in the store. First, I went to customer service. I waited there for a while - first for the office clerk to come out and then for the office clerk (long grey hair female) to finish an unimportant conversation with another worker before she even greeted me. She then looked at me and asked “What do you need?” I asked for a roll of quarters. Her response: “No, that would mess up everything ai’ve just done.” Having worked in the grocery industry for years as a customer service and office manager, I imagine what she meant is that she would simply have to replace a roll of quarters for a ten-dollar bill— or not much more than that. I asked her if the cashier could give it to me “he doesn’t have any either.” The cashier said he actually did have some and gave me $1 worth. He asked the office clerk if she could help him get into the change machine at the register and she simply said “no.” I left without buying any groceries. I have never been to a supermarket— even during the pandemic—that could not find a way to get a roll of quarters. I don’t want to shop somewhere with a supervisor that unhelpful and not willing to go through the least bit of trouble.
