  My partner and I go there a lot because it’s on our way to school. They are out of the mac n’ cheese and jambalaya often but the food itself is pretty good. The Google maps listing is a little bit misleading because it’s more so the gas station hot case in the Mobil station there rather than a real restaurant. Manage your expectations accordingly, but, if you’re looking for something quick and affordable, it’s pretty good!

  Ordered off of Uber Eats, and while the chicken did show up nice and hot, that's about the only merit I can give. Ordered tenders with a biscuit, mash potatoes, and red beans and rice. 'Cept they sent jambalaya instead of red beans and rice. Going item by item, the tenders were hot and juicy with a crispy breading, but they didn't really have much flavor. The biscuit that came with it didn't match the online image at all, and was pallid and deflated, with the "honey" being this weird grainy coating. The mash and gravy tasted plainly like the premade stuff from powder. And the jambalaya, which once again was supposed to be red beans and rice, was weirdly sweet for a jambalaya. Being born in New Orleans, this was just plain disappointing. I wanted soul food, and I got sad food.

  I went to this location for lunch but came out empty-handed. The clerk was talking on their cell phone when I came in and while I was reviewing the menu—which would not have been a big deal had they actually helped me. I ordered a four-piece meal and asked for a breast, a wing, and two legs. First, the clerk told me that they do not sell wings. I said “okay— two breasts and two legs.”He said, “No— (I can do) - two legs, two thighs.” That’s absurd. There are no fried chicken wings— unheard of in a fried chicken joint. Then, I was denied the pieces I requested that they did have— period. Not even an option for an upcharge. I said, “Okay, thank you, take care” and started to head out— no attempt to retain me or offer another way I could get the food I requested. Rarely do I walk away from a restaurant without getting anything. Try KFC instead- at least you can get the pieces you ask for.

  Nothing cajun about the chicken, aside from being less than mediocre. I didn't taste any kind of seasoning or flavor at all. I gave two stars instead of one because I did go there at around 8pm and maybe it would have been a little better a couple hours sooner. 🤷‍♀️ Go to any grocery store deli instead.
