  One of the worst takeout experiences of my life. Ordered the papas rumbas. Everything was cold, potatoes were undercooked and hard, it was oily and yet flavorless. I really don't know what to say. Very very bad. Update: I would like to go ahead and get a full refund for my latest order. Thank you.

  Cafe Rumba is one of my favorite restaurants in Bellingham. Everything is always super tasty. The only thing I'm sad about is that my favorite sandwich, the Butifarra Royal, is no longer on the menu.

  Very good sandwiches from the cafe. We ordered the #1, #3, and #5. I prefer the chicken sandwich because it was much more mild than the pork and tasted very fresh with tender meat and fresh slaw. I loved the #1 also with the sweet potato and pork, and thought they were very original flavor combinations for a sandwich. I also tried the bakery and the Alfijores were out of this world. Conch was a little dry but still loved it.

  I was blown away by this restaurant. We there visiting the college from out of town and found this little gem. My sandwich was so good and the potatoes were to die for! After you eat, you can go next door to their bakery and coffee shop which is also amazing! The owner and workers are so sweet and down to earth!

  Used to be amazing food and still somewhat is but they changed their chicken recipe and now anything with chicken in it is a disappointment :( its just so basic and flavorless:( dishes are also very inconsistent depending on the chef and my papas have been forgotten many times. Some days I'll think a dish is amazing and a 10 and it will make me want to come back but then when i do its a 6, they are smaller less flavorful portions. Used to be there every week and was obsessed and now i feel unsure if its gonna be amazing that day.
