  Everything about this place is just perfect and authentic. I had my lunch here and i ordered sushi & roll teishoku and portion was more than i expected. Shout out to the servers as well, they did really good job checking out my table during the rush! Definitely recommend and coming back 👍

  Such a hidden gem. Such a quality sushi. We ordered o toro, chu toro and more. Slices were very generous. The special roll was so great as well!! And the kids menu was really good. I did not have to turn on any youtube for them because they were busy eating; it's that good. I will come back!!

  I don't know what they're doing back in the kitchen but this has got to be one of the best sushi restaurants in the state! A little hole-in-the-wall location, upon walking in you'll be welcomed to an immediately warm, comforting traditional Japanese restaurant setting where tables are sectioned off for a more private dining experience - perfect for families and small groups. The menu has a really nice wide variety of traditional and contemporary Japanese eats and none of it will leave you unsatisfied. The cuts of fish are fresh, delicious, and lovingly prepared; the sushi rolls are creative and inspired; and every ingredient is top-quality, including the real crab meat you can substitute in. Wait staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the food - both in etymology and how it is prepared. Overall, I strongly encourage checking out Sushi In Joy and if you're feeling adventurous, try something on their menu you've never had before! The quality of their food will certainly not disappoint.

  We loved Sushi In Joy before we moved out of the area last year. We recently came back for a visit with family and picked up dinner for all of us at Sushi In Joy. Everything was perfect! The food was amazing--even our 7 year old twins loved it, especially the miso soup. Sushi and poke bowl made fresh with care (we watched!). We will certainly be back the next time we visit. If you haven't already, please give Sushi In Joy a try--you won't be disappointed. :)

  Sushi in JOY absolutely earns its name. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive. Most importantly, the sushi is remarkably fresh. We especially loved the rich, savory eel sushi and the Washington rolls, which were excellent. Considering the reasonable prices, it is a place we are excited to return to.
