- JHJon Handel2 days ago3.0I love Safeway, but the lunch deli/hot case at the Belfair location is severely lacking. At lunchtime on 4/10/2026, I got the "supreme combo" with General Tso's chicken and honey walnut shrimp with fried rice and an egg roll. Ugh. Yuck. The shrimp was inedible. I don't use the word disgusting very often but it definitely was. The chicken wasn't any better. It was straight from a bag, just sauce covered nuggets. And the "fried rice" isn't fried at all. It's just steamed white rice with peas and carrots. No seasonings, no soy sauce, not even scrambled egg. The egg roll was okay, but it was soft and chewy, not crispy. This meal was a disaster. You have to get rid of the lunch time cook before I go back.

Then the disgusting waste is walked all around the store where People shop for food to take home. I have informed management many times in the past. I don't shop very often there anymore.
