1 Star review. If I could leave zero, I would.
I placed a mobile order for my kids and didn’t realize it had been canceled until I arrived at the location. I did not cancel it myself. When I went inside to ask about it, an employee told me to pull up to the drive-thru.
At the first window, the employee got the manager and the manager told me my order was canceled and instructed me to drive around again to place a new order. I said well why didn’t your coworker tell me this? I explained that I hadn’t canceled anything and didn’t have a code because the order had already disappeared. I was clearly frustrated at this point because I had already driven there expecting the food to be ready for my kids.
I then had to re-order the exact same meals and pay again.
When I reached the second window, an employee made a comment saying, “Oh, I can see why she’s miserable,” referring to me. That was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I didn’t respond. I was just waiting for my kids’ food.
I’ve worked in customer service before. I understand customers can be frustrated. But professionalism matters. Making comments about customers within earshot is unacceptable.
My kids love McDonald’s, but after this experience, we won’t be returning to this location. Staff attitudes and lack of accountability made this a very disappointing visit.

It was elite night stuff for me so the drive-through guy was super chill and I always love it when someone makes me laugh and he did a good job at that!

A fast food restaurant that doesn't understand the meaning of "fast." More often than not I am asked to "pull ahead and wait" even for a small, simple order. Figure it out folks.
