Worst Safeway experience ever. Stopped by after work with my husband to buy some donuts that were on sale and ended up having the worst Safeway experience ever. I went to the self checkout and unfortunately they didn’t ring up at the sale price so I just asked for a price adjustment from the self checkout cashier, Javis. He was really rude and didn’t want to help me at all. He kept walking away mid conversation and saying he couldn’t do anything about that and wouldn’t even process a return for me. Even when my husband tried to talk to him he just kept walking away from us. When I asked to speak with a manager he just said that she’s in the back and can’t help you and she’s very busy even though customer service comes first. He didn’t even try calling her and told me to come back tomorrow even though I don’t live in the area. He didn’t have a name tag and when I asked for his name he said that i didn’t need to know that and then he lied and said it was Jessie. I waited for half an hour before I finally found a manger, Grace, who finally was able to assist me and told me his name. This was on Sunday evening the 16th around 9:30pm. It was a very frustrating and unpleasant experience that ruined the store for me. I felt so disrespected as a customer. Never coming back here and people like him ruin customer experiences. If you don’t have the right customer service attitude you shouldn’t be working in a customer service role.

I came in to get lunch from the deli. The older Asian gentleman was outside smoking when I arrived to the store. He came in and immediately started helping people on the deli without washing his hands.

Open late, and they will even try to find what you're long for, even if they have to go in the back to look.
