  It's a shame this is our best option for grocery pickup. What you can expect is to never receive your full order and have to go back every single time to pick up the second half they have forgotten. Time after time they mess it up and I come back because I dont have a better choice. They will sometimes not even fulfill an order the day it was meant to be picked up and they will be shocked you call to ask what happened to your order. What you can expect is to never recieve an apology for any of the waste of time, money and gas being lost on this terribly managed safeway.

  I really like the store. There's good quality food here without all the extra attention seeking items designed to make you spend more than you wanted. The staff have been very pleasant and helpful. I just can't wrap my head around the blatant drug use at this business. Everyday the side of the building facing State Street has countless users laid over on each other. It's a gamble if you'll make it across the parking lot without being approached. Shoping here is a step up from the other large chain store in town but I'm afraid it won't be for long.

  So I was visiting in order to help my mother-in-law after her hip surgery. My mother-in-law was using a motorized scooter due to being unable to walk. We shopped for her using her basket on the scooter as well as a few items for myself. When going to checkout the self checkout lady (whose name wasn’t caught but she is older, a little heavier set with a nasty attitude and works self checkout around 1pm) refused us the self checkout. Straight refused us because we both carried our items in her basket. We offered to get another cart since she was being petty about a shared basket but less than 15 items each, with an EMPTY self checkout) but she continued to tell us to leave. Basically made my mother-in-law cry. After trying to make a complaint, the manager said he’d “talk to her” while she smirked the entire time. I found the entire exchange to be nasty, unprofessional and honestly I have never once been treated in this manner in the 30 years I have been choosing to shop at Safeway. This unfortunate experience makes me re-evaluate supporting such a company. Do better with your employees Safeway.

  I recently ordered a cake at the Aberdeen Safeway. It looked perfect with lots of flowers as per my request! Your cake decorator did a great job. I am a very satisfied customer, and will keep coming back...

  Hands down the worst safeway I've been in. Doors are broken, bathrooms are clear across the store, and have a code, and are also closed, (which you have to ask one of the dozens of employees who are just sitting around doing nothing) in order to find out. Safeway should drop their brand from this store.
