EDIT: If I could give this Dunkin’ in Quechee, Vermont zero stars, I absolutely would.
The customer service here is some of the rudest and most dismissive I’ve ever experienced at ANY Dunkin’, and I go often enough to know what normal service looks like.
The staff acted like basic requests were a personal inconvenience to them. I asked for two shots of espresso in a large cup with ice so I could add my own drink due to a health condition, and instead of helping, they decided to make up their own rules on the spot and refuse. I was spoken to with attitude, treated like I was doing something wrong, and given zero explanation that made sense.
Every other Dunkin’ I’ve ever been to has done this without hesitation.
This location? They acted like I was asking for something illegal. I went to the closest Dunkin from this location and when I told them they laughed because they know how horrible the quechee Dunkin treats its customers and they get people who didn’t get service at the quechee Dunkin often.
Because of how unprofessional, rude, and unhelpful the interaction was, I’ve already contacted Dunkin’ corporate, and they confirmed they are opening an investigation into how this store is treating customers and why they’re inventing policies that don’t exist anywhere else.
I left this location feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and genuinely shocked.
If you value customer service, consistency, or just basic human decency, skip this Dunkin’.

The manager at the Quechee Dunkin’, Samantha, is the worst example of customer service I’ve ever experienced. I’m a local, and I’ve never been treated this poorly at any Dunkin’. She is rude, dishonest, and openly hostile not only to customers but also to her own staff. When I ordered a simple pup cup for my dog, she lied straight to my face about a “policy” that doesn’t even exist, got visibly angry that I had the nerve to ask for one, and then loudly talked about me through the drive-through window while I was still sitting right there in my car.
On top of that, they got my order wrong twice. When I tried to correct it, Samantha admitted she “didn’t know how to charge” me for the medium I had actually ordered instead of the small she already rang me up for even though it was her mistake to begin with. I have worked in the service industry for a long time, and was not annoyed even for a second for them getting my order wrong, so I don’t understand why she acted like I was being a jerk.
I’ve already contacted corporate and confirmed with the closest Dunkin’ location that what she said was a complete lie. The other women working were polite and tried to resolve the situation, but Samantha only escalated it. Instead of being a leader, she chooses to be nasty, unhelpful, and openly disrespectful.
To make matters worse, she presents herself in a greasy, unhygienic way that perfectly matches her unprofessional attitude. The entire atmosphere of this store is poisoned by her behavior, and it’s clear she thrives on conflict rather than customer service. This is not just a bad day or one rude interaction this is a manager who should not be managing anything.
This location is known by locals as always being laughably bad because orders are always wrong or things take longer, but in the past month it has been significantly worse. I’m not even wasting my time by going here anymore. I can deal with slow service due to understaffing, or small mistakes. But arrogance and managers disrespecting their staff is unacceptable to me.
Until Dunkin’ removes Samantha from this location, I’ll be warning others to steer clear. She makes the entire brand look bad.
