The two people working purposely ignored us and the people behind us. They were taking there time making drinks for the drive through. People in the drive through had been there for 15 minutes and were unhappy and still waiting.

It would be a lot better if it wasn't for their snoody drive up guy. He's pretty rude every time, but last time he handed my iced coffee out the window dripping, handed me a wadded up handful of napkins and refused to take them after I finished doing his job for him.

The coffee is mediocre. The doughnuts are not very good, it's sad actually that they have become the standard for the Northeast US. And there is a reason no one talks about their other food options.
The staff here has, over the years, frequently messed up my teen's drink order. No big deal, one learns to check before leaving.
The place itself is unkempt and the staff looks harried and completely disinterested in customer service (I understand their apathy and discomfort with the work space).
The only reason this place does good business is because of commuter traffic into Montpelier. The drive through area had to be expanded to accommodate morning rush hour. When there was a Dunkin in Montpelier city it was usually empty.
I imagine another reason it does business is because there is nowhere else that sells doughnuts so offices/schools etc. have no other option than to purchase from here.
It is what it is, a sad reflection on what people consider acceptable. Doughnut shops used to have higher standards: better ingredients, fresher food, better coffee, bigger doughnuts, better service, cleaner establishments and lower prices relative to inflation. Now, ersatz food and drink. I paused writing this review momentarily to check the ingredients of their doughnuts. I suggest you do the same.
I know this review won't make a difference but c'est la vie.

This is the most efficient Dunkin I have ever been to and they always make my order well and accurately! I go through the drive thru and even if there are a bunch of cars in front of you, you still go through in a timely manner. I honestly don’t know how they do it, but this is the Dunkin that other Dunkin’s should be trained like.

Dunkin used to be the BEST, not now. We stopped today on our way out of town, donuts were disgusting. Got a blueberry glazed, Boston creme and chocolate glazed. All were mangled and wet, like someone sprinkled them with water. Couldn't eat them. Store was also not very clean.
