  We had two very polar experiences at this location. The woman at the front counter was so wonderful and human, a kindness you hope to experience everywhere you go. What humankind should be like. Then we experienced the pharmacy. A cold, rude woman who had no emotion nor care for the patients needing their medicine. Clearly she hates her job and people in general. Should not be in customer service nor in charge of others health, since she has no desire to help and would walk over a dying person to open her car door. This is conjecture as I don’t know what was going on in her life, but either way she had no concern for the well-being of my wife. I do apologize to her publicly here for not acting in accordance with my values and losing my temper, but the way you treated my wife was disgusting and it is my duty to do what I can to protect her. I hope you can learn to empathize with others better. To the woman at the front counter, I’m sorry for the 1 star review- this is not aimed at you. God has infinite stars for you and you will shine eternally; I’m sure of it.

  I’ve been doing business with Kinney Drugs in Newport, for a long time, without any issues. Temporarily transferred prescriptions to this location to make it easier for my daughter to pick up because I recently had surgery and can’t drive. It’s been nothing but problems. In all my life, I’ve never had a pharmacist call and question me about why I switched locations. When I first transferred, I called the pharmacist to see if my prescriptions had been moved here, yet. She informed me that I need to call the Newport location and talk to them because she was “the only one here, didn’t have time and was too busy filling other prescriptions”. I can not wait until I can drive, again and take my business back to Newport.

  The pharmacist is so rude. I'm not sure why you would choose to work with the public when you clearly don't enjoy it. This is my 3rd interaction with her and she has been so rude. I asked for the contact information of her supervisor and I was told they don't give that information out...

  Had to wait over 24 hours to receive medication. Just waited in the drive-through for 20 minutes, just to have the shade drawn in my face. Pharmacy is constantly understaffed.

  This pharmacy is ridiculous. Constant staffing issues, never had medications in stock, rude staff!
