Once I got the cone, the girl who gave it to me handed it through the window and said “Our ice cream sucks” and shut the window walking away laughing with all the other workers there chuckling. Ice cream was barely an inch above the cone so there was almost nothing there. It wasn’t the wait so much as the interaction with the workers who couldn’t have cared less that there was hardly any ice cream on the cone and walked away before I was able to say anything.
