They work anxiously in fear - that will NEVER help your business. If you want to be staffed reliably, have minimal mistakes on orders and better reviews, management needs to be replaced. Threatening to call cops on an employee if they show to a shift because she had to leave to get her child? So she quit? There are posts on social media AT LEAST once a week regarding this manager. Ive witnessed the turn over rate - you have a problem with your management. It needs to be fixed and addressed. It's cruel and I'm sick of it.
