  I came to visit the beautiful state of Vermont and decided to stops at Shaw’s to get some groceries with my daughter (toddler by the way). I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at a Shaw’s grocery store. A normal shopping trip, but instead I was made to feel uncomfortable, targeted, and humiliated. During my visit, a security guard who I said good morning to decided to followed me throughout the entire store without cause. It became very clear that I was being singled out, as I did not observe the same behavior toward other shoppers. As a Hispanic customer, this felt like racial profiling, and it was both degrading and unacceptable. I work hard for my money and should be able to shop without being treated like a suspect. Being watched and followed while caring for my child was embarrassing and distressing. No customer should ever feel judged or targeted because of their ethnicity. I am bringing this to attention because this behavior reflects poorly on the store and its values, I tried to ask for help to find items since I never been to this store. Not a single employee cared to helped just ignored my excuse me can you help me. Only one black gentleman working in the milk aisle directed me to the correct aisle. I expect this situation to be taken seriously, addressed with the staff involved, and for proper training to be implemented to ensure no other customer has to go through this. Shame on shaws for allowing this to happen! I hope Shaw’s corporate team will take appropriate action and uphold a standard of respect and fairness for all customers. Racism is real and for democratic state to show it it’s embarrassing. I assure you someone like me who takes home six figures isn’t coming into your store to take anything especially when all I walked in with was my toddler and my wallet. DISGUSTING RACIST BEHAVIOR! I’ll be passing along to anyone I know and family in the state of Vermont to not shop here anymore!

  Great store, bad layout. Always takes me longer to find things than other places. Example: zero tortillas in the Latin food section. Inexplicably they are only located on an endcap by baby supplies. It’s someone’s job to design the layout. They are in need of some constructive criticism…

  It's a very good store to shop at for foods and drinks. Employees are friendly and helpful.

  shaws in 66 mountain View Dr, colchester has begun to get real bad. Ever since the AI and Gemini came along. I used to be able ot get my list made and be on my way to shaws, but now I try to get my groceries at Shaws and I would be able get all the stuff done in the morning in no time at all. Now at shaws, you guys have made a mess of things and I have to fight and fight just to get a list made. It keeps blanking out and then when I get back, it does not back---it is really lousy. I dont know if it is AI and Gemini doing it or not, but someone better get it back the way it was or I am not going to shop at shaws any morel
