  Concerning experiences regarding cashiers at this location have occurred, all unprofessional with one instigating a problem elsewhere after exiting another retail location with nothing initiating the juvenile behavior. Gossip is a significant concern, with some employees gossiping while customers are present. Employees and management smoke at the front entrance of the store, instead of going to a designated shady location behind the store. Power wheelchairs obstruct the entrance. Carts block the breezeway on one side of the store. The store will not accommodate a customer requesting the low-sugar version of a product, even if the customer is a routine purchaser of the item. There does not appear any regard as to the value of a customer, with no effort to keep or supplement a product routinely purchased. Employees wear their hair down while stocking produce. Meats are sometimes not disinfected after placed on the belt, increasing risk to the customer. Cell phones have been observed in routine use, although less frequently as of lately. Refrigerated and or freezer handles and doors have been observed being cleaned, and the floors routinely are maintained in excellent condition in appearance. There is no paper towel holder in the bathroom. An unsanitary box is present positioned on top of a caution cone. Several male cashiers are particularly professional, are not observed on a cell phone and correspond on point. A loose rack containing a laundry product positioned in front of disposable wipes has been reported multiple times, however remains. The rack comes out when obtaining the wipes, and could significantly harm anyone standing nearby including children standing below, as the rack may hit an individual in the head.

  Food lion was doing so good for not letting pets/fake service dogs inside the store. And today I saw one in the cart and the employees were just talking to the owner. It’s very unsanitary to have a pet in there especially when it was in a cart. And I’m pretty sure that was an employee breaking the policy of no pets as well
