  I have been looking for Chinese food like this for a long time. I have gone to multiple places in Southern MD and have always been disappointed. The customer service here is impeccable. The ladies here were so attentive and genuine, and the food was chef’s kiss. I am a General Tso’s connoisseur, and I have finally found my place. The chicken was so tender, and the sauce was amazing. The egg foo young was fluffy and seasoned to perfection. The duck was tender and crispy, with a delightful sauce. The ladies went above and beyond with their service. I live in Maryland, but will definitely take a trip across the bridge for the food and service. Everything was amazing here. Thank you, Iesha, Chi Chi, and Mahr for everything. I will definitely be back. Oh, and the prices are also very affordable. We ordered crispy duck, crab rangoon, general tso chicken and shrimp egg foo young and spring rolls.

  This place is under new management. The food is very good, and has stayed the same menu. I recommend this place. The atmosphere is now improved (no small children hanging out in the back part). Still has the classic look of Americana Chinese Food. The restaurant has attention to detail and friendly. Want to try it out - go T-F for the lunch menu (not open on Mondays). I get a special (around $10-12 for main and rice with eggroll), then I add a soup off dinner menu (tom yum - chicken). Or you could have a lunch special with rice and standard soup. For fun get the flaming pupu platter - always a hit (Great for 2-3 people). I brought a group here in 2025 of young adults last year who loved the pupu platter. Solid choice, more people should go to check it out, good value, good flavor restaurant. I'll add more photos the next go round, I had already cleared my plate before thinking about it.

  We had a DoorDash delivery from House of Chou in Woodbridge Virginia. The order was predominantly, sesame, chicken and chicken with cashews. The sesame chicken looked almost normal, other than it was a bit cold, the broccoli was well done, and the rice was hard as a rock. The chicken with cashews looked like Purina dog chow but smelled worse. We couldn’t eat it. Neither dish had any of the sauce that normally you put on the rice to eat with the main entrée. Extremely dry servings. House Of Chou used to be good when ate there but if this is indicative of House of Chou, neither dish looked, smelled or tasted good. The rice was hard as a rock and the food was not appealing to look at. Based upon this, I could not recommend House of Chou either dining in or via DoorDash.

  Best Chinese food we have had in a long time. Other area restaurants can't begin to compete. We had takeout.
