We started with an order of grape leaves, which tasted good, but we’re really tiny. He ordered the chicken kebab platter for his meal which he says was great. I ordered the moujadarah, which was quite dried out and overcooked. I mentioned this to the manager/server when he came to check on us. He looked at my dish and replied that yes, it was overcooked. He did not offer to bring me anything different, he did not offer to bring me a fresh meal, and he did not take the cost of the meal off our bill. The two gentlemen working in the restaurant we’re both nice, but I was disappointed that, although they knew we were there for a birthday (they overheard us and told my partner happy birthday), they did not attempt to make my meal right in any way.

We had the labneh, hummus, tabouleh, stuffed grape leaves, sambusek, falafel, stuffed cabbage and lamb pizza. Everything was delicious. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is a nice relaxing vibes. Can not wait to return.

We didn’t plan on having wine, but Robert offered us some of their Lebanese wines to taste. Pleasantly surprised we decided to enjoy some wine. We tried the red, white and rosé, and I’d recommend giving them a try. Byblos 2 is a nice addition to the area offering great food and atmosphere. Enjoy!
