  Always a great experience at this store. Shoutout Isaiah — one of their employees. He always has a smile and greets us kindly. Food is fresh and great portion sizes! They also have a great app with well-balanced rewards!

  During the evening shift 2-3 hours before closing I’ve visited with my wife on three separate occasions on different days of the week and the staff is rude. They never greet when we come through the door they didn’t give us a receipt. The rice was severely undercooked and crunchy. I walked in to get a receipt because they didn’t give me a receipt and the staff ignored me as if I wasn’t standing there. I attempted to get their attention and was ignored. Overall, if I was the franchiser of this location I would be pissed to know that my employees were running my store like this. Horrible. Also, they rarely have items in stock. We wanted to give them a second chance because my wife loves Cava but the past three experiences ruined the restaurant for me. This location gets a 1 star rating.

  I consider myself a loyal and knowledgeable patron of CAVA, and as a professional, I place a high value on exceptional customer service. During a recent visit, Desmond provided an outstanding experience—he was both knowledgeable and patient while assisting my guest, my second cousin, who was visiting for the first time. His professionalism left a very positive impression. However, my experience on Saturday, March 27, 2026, at approximately 7:46 PM was disappointing. I encountered a cashier whose behavior fell short of expected service standards. Although I did not obtain her name, she was wearing a hijab, and my order ID was AC2KVNKNACG5. I had to request my sumac pitas twice, and during the interaction, she displayed visible frustration, including eye-rolling and a dismissive demeanor. She appeared disengaged, laughing and speaking loudly with coworkers, which made the interaction feel unprofessional and uncomfortable. This contrast in service quality was concerning. Based on this experience, I am considering visiting another location in the future, such as Newport News, to ensure a more consistent level of service. Additionally, I recommend that management consider utilizing customer engagement platforms such as Podium, which allow businesses to respond directly to customer feedback and maintain stronger communication with patrons.

  I’m really disappointed with my experience at Cava in Williamsburg. I ordered a veggie bowl expecting a good portion of fresh vegetables, but what I got was the complete opposite. There were barely any veggies in the bowl—just two little scoops that didn’t even come close to what you’d expect for a “veggie” option. For the price, I expected a lot more value and consistency. It honestly felt like corners were cut, and I left still hungry like it was there personal food. If you’re going to advertise a veggie bowl, it should actually be filled with vegetables, not just a small afterthought. Definitely not worth it, and I won't be wasting my money here again .
