  This Sonic is easily THE worst Sonic location in the Hampton Roads area. Long wait times are not usual. For me, it has been a 20 minute wait for my food each time we visited. The long wait won't be worth it either. Food is not hot and orders won't be accurate. If you want a good Sonic, go to the one in Carrolton. It's a 18 minute drive, but you're going to wait 18 minutes at this location anyways. At least you will be happy with what you order. Orders are quick, fresh, and hot. Also, pay no attention to the lukewarm apologies that follow these negative reviews. The real apology is a change in customer service and product quality. It hasn't changed in the 6.5 years that I've been here. Atp, one could say that mediocre service and poor execution IS their standard.

  Always fresh. Need to bring a sonic to Harrisonburg,but it was worth the drive.

  Imagine this: You have been wanting Sonic for a long time but there are none in your area. You realize that there is one near your son's high school football game so you leave early enough to eat before the game. As you get closer your mouth waters. You get there and it smells heavenly, just like you remember. You pull up to a stall and place your order for you and your wife. A long, and I mean unusually long time for a place nowhere near busy, time passes and you see your "carhop" coming towards you with enough drinks to hydrate the entire football team. I ordered a #4 with a Rt. 44 Strawberry Limeade....not FOUR Rt. 44 drinks. So, I have to reorder, wait longer, and receive what could only be described as ....meh.
