  BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION for cleanliness. After having my sandwiches toasted, it came out covered in black debris. When I pointed it out, wanting it removed, the manager acted as if that's part of toasting and didn't see a problem and was unpleasant from that moment on. Those large chunks and bits of black that covered my sanwich are from residue buildup, char, old food particles and can even be coating breakdown that has loosen and fallen off. From the large amounts that fell off, it means the equipment is never cleaned. If the manager (the person in charge) is fine with servicing tainted food, even having an attitude for bringing it up, it has me wondering how the food is handled behind the scenes. There are too many other subways to choose from with better customer service and better food handling to settle for this Lynnhaven location. The one star is for the lovely employee who was there, who acted with such kindness and understanding (how a manager should conduct themselves) that I wish her the best for the future.

  Been here many times with variable service. Walked in today, 2 people are there. Girl looks right at me several times and just continues to ignore me. No, “hey, I’ll be right with you, give me a moment, etc.” Absolutely nothing. I walked out without ordering anything as it was blatantly rude.

  Very open and friendly customer service with good and delicious options for vegetarian customers the atmosphere is great with the worker talking very friendly and helping you with the options

  Walking in the restaurant you have 2 young girls chilling and eating . One works there the other I think was just chillin. One behind the counter with blond hair. She is telling her coworker eating holding her phone in air that a lady before us left a google review. Then says sorry about that. Her homegirl chimes in “it’s crazy she left a review that quick” Then their homeboys coming in to chill and use the bathroom whatever. We order the sandwich of the day 2 footlong Philly cheese steaks. The girl with the blonde hair has an attitude the entire time she is making our sandwiches. When we go to check out she tells me it will be 37$ and some Change . I explain to her the sub of the day is 6.99 add 3$ to make it a footlong . There is 2 of them so it should be about 20$ before tax she instantly starts huffing and puffing she rings everything back up and says it’s $22 and some change. Why was she trying to charge me an extra 15$ for what, idk. I go to scan my app she gets an attitude and says it’s just going to be a minute because she had to back out to give me the opportunity to scan my app. I typically don’t ever have these issues with the sweet Indian lady’s that work here during the week, I love coming to this subway typically I eat at the restaurant. We decided the vibe was not right here and we are going home to eat. Then both of the meat on our phillys are cold to the touch so she didn’t even toast our sandwiches long enough. We got cookies she didn’t feel like separating the cookies into different bags so I told her it was ok to put it in one. As we are leaving the store I asked my husband, “ why does she have such a bad attitude , why does she work there if she hates her job” then when I come home to find what should be hot is cold I’m confused if the cold meat is even safe to eat. I call up to the store to ask about having my food remade , they don’t answer as expected. I thought damn if this is our experience what was the review the lady left she was hollering about when we came in. It was her attitude! Please do not come to this place on the weekend if you see this young blonde behind the counter just walk out and save your money.

  The only reason they get two stars instead of 1 is because the guy behind the counter at 2:45pm was trying so hard to serve everyone. I waited close to an hour with only 6 people ahead of me. How are you going to have only 1 person on a Sunday afternoon serving customers and ringing the register? Its not only unfair to your customers( 3 people walked out while I was in line), but it is also unfair to the poor employee working by himself and the pressure that puts on them.
