I just had the worst experience at the sonic. I just went to the one in Virginia Beach ordered online. Got there. Saw it little busy, I was okay, cool. I understood. It would be a little wait. Over 40 minutes later is ridiculous. And that was because I went up there and said, I haven't got my order. But I've tried not to hound them knowing they were actually busy, and they were trying, so she looks up my order. And she goes back in, she comes out. She's like, oh, it's just been sitting there. Mind you ordered at 2:45. I checked in about 3 o'clock when I asked her about my food. It was about 340. I was missing a drink. She goes back in there, grabs my drink and I check my food and The food is cold. Why would you give me cold food when you just said it was just sitting there. So I said, can speak to the manager. I guess the manager is the other person working. Can I get fresh food? She said yes. Comes back out with the same cold food!! I ordered mozzarella sticks. Since they were cold it was just a cold cheese stick with breading on it. 2 people I met waited over 40mins for 2 drinks, that is all they ordered. 2 DRINKS TOOK OVER 40 MINS. This is unacceptable.
Tonight was one of the worst nights possible going to sonic. Got into a stall and pressed the button......started ordering but took my time since the screen was delayed on what was being said just to be asked "what to drink" gave my response and was followed immediately by "order total" and asked for payment, and i still had more items to add. Cashier didn't even ask if i wanted to order anything else. What a joke this place is.
I’ve frequent this sonic a good bit for the breakfast, but on my way to work this morning I was highly disappointed. I ordered two bacon egg and cheese toasters and a large cup of water. When I got there the person who would be taking my order was outside sitting in their car … fine I get it, but they no sanitary precautions once coming in and for my food to look the way it did was highly disappointing. Cheese nor toast were toasted and the one piece of bacon per sandwich I did receive was burnt. Well after I started to drive off they rushed back outside to continue with whatever they were doing, so I guess I was an inconvenience which is why my food turned out the way it did. I looked at my food before leaving the parking lot and started to just ask for new sandwiches, but I know how it goes when you send food back so ole well.

Cashier could not get the order right. When questioned about my order they simply said they could charge me for another. I was never given a reciept to prove what I purchased. What happened to customer service. This kid acted like he was annoyed I was questioning why I didn't get all my food.

Absolutely terrible experience. The service was unbelievably slow, and the staff acted like they couldn’t care less about the customers. My order was wrong, cold, and thrown together with zero attention to detail. When I tried to get it fixed, I was met with attitude instead of an apology. For fast food, this was anything but fast or convenient. Definitely won’t be coming back.
