I went there for a promotional smoothie not a slushy. When we got there, there might’ve been one other person. My family and I, a total of four people had to wait 20 minutes for one smoothies be made and at first they only made one smoothie when we had ordered four so we had to wait even more for the others smoothies to be made. I would like to say this was a while ago,so it has been some time,but I am in the area again and I was just reminded of how bad the experience was.

ORIGINAL: In December 2024, I experienced a service issue at your Virginia Beach location (209 Laskin Rd, Suite 108, Virginia Beach, VA 23451). At that time, I appreciated the effort to make things right by providing a gift card as a gesture of goodwill.
Unfortunately, when I recently prepared for my June 2025 trip and checked the balance on the gift card, it showed $0. Since there is no Tropical Smoothie Cafe near my home, I had saved the card to enjoy during my travels.
I called your customer service line twice on June 13, 2025, and again on June 16, 2025, to report the issue and request assistance. It has now been over 30 days, and I have not received even a courtesy reply. This lack of response has taken a small, easily resolved issue and turned it into a much larger disappointment.
As a customer who values your brand and has always enjoyed visiting your locations, I am disheartened by how this situation has been handled. I had trusted that your team would follow through, but instead I feel let down.
I am hopeful this can still be corrected. Please advise on how the gift card value can be restored or another resolution provided. I would appreciate a prompt response so we can move forward positively.

I walked into this Tropical Smoothie at 6:52 on a Saturday 1/18. Two girls in the back looked very annoyed which prompted me to ask are you closed. She replied yes. I asked what her hours were - she replied we close at 8. I said you don't take any orders an hour before you close? She said no then stumbled we can't can only take certain orders. I asked her if there was a manager she said there was no manager. I told her I would make a call to the owner and turned to walk out. The shorter girl started to scream she was a manager and did I have a problem( she was standing right there when this conversation took place.) I proceeded to walk out the store and she began screaming after me and followed me out. My daughter was actually afraid she was going to follow us into the street. She was highly inappropriate and abusive. I never raised my voice, didn't use any profanity and simply left after they refused to serve me. Her behavior was out of line, particularly when I was told by the other girl there was no manager present. Check the tapes.
I think the owners should know that this location stays open but refuses to take orders. I will be following this up with a written complaint I have NEVER BEEN treated this way at any Tropical Smoothie and eat there regularly.
