  This food lion use to be ok. But, now it lacks good customer service. I made groceries & got complete paper bags the cashier put everything she could at first & it was extremely heavy so I ended up dividing my groceries between the paper bags. Then I was in the line & a cashier was really rude to man in another line she said really sarcastic do I look like I have the plague or something I'm open. Today I got another paper bag & asked for plastic the lady gave me the look from hell & took the bag ripped it aggressively put it in the plastic bag. Look here's the thing I'm not paying nobody to treat me rude. IDC what company it is or who you are.

  Cashier 0149. And older white lady has absolute horrible customer service ask for a plastic bag instead of pAper bag and she catches a whole attitude and snatches the paper bag back and this is not the first time it would be better to simply ask would you like paper or plastic instead of breathing hard and giving the customer a look of disgust for asking for a plastic bag especially when both are right there smh very poor customer service

  I shop at this food lion often and typically have a pleasant experience. Today was unfortunately different. I went in early to pick up just 4 cans of cat food and got in line, it wasn’t busy so most lanes were empty. I waited around 2 minutes as the older black woman cashier didn’t pay me any attention and was chatting with her bagger. So I ended up just grabbing my cat food and going to the next one over, a cashier I actually sort of knew from my own job. When I got in the new line, the older black woman snapped at me and said “I was standing right here, you didn’t have to move.” I told her it was fine and that it seemed she was busy, to which she rolled her eyes at me. Really disappointed in this behavior. As a grocery store assistant manager myself, I would never let my cashiers conduct themselves in such a way to a customer simply trying to check out. Not sure if she’s got personal stuff going on, but I hope she gets the help she obviously needs. Sadly, I don’t think I will be coming back to this store.
