  This is the second year in a row I bought the platinum pass for the winter season, extended this seasons. We really enjoyed coming weekly, as the staff always greeted us like family. LJ is amazing. Her smile, her kindness, and willingness to always help. Shanna, the manager, never hesitated to assist anytime my son bothered her with something crazy :) Same for Manager Jeremiah. The prize guys, Alex and Chris put up with getting Baby three’s from the locked case each week without huffing. Smiles all around. The wait staff always catered to our needs as well. Thanks so much. If DB had more staff like this, especially people like LJ to go above and beyond stocks would sky rocket!!!

  D&B was always my go-to place for a fun little time when I resided in FL. My disappointment with this VA Beach location is half of the arcade games were out of order, others just took chips & gave a light show, & all the virtual game attachments stop working halfway through. It wasn’t worth saying anything b/c the techs were already flustered with every other faulty machine. It’s not the same. I got irritated replaying the same 6 games. I left disappointed cause I kept feeling like I got played more than I played.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Dave & Buster's last night. To start, the bartender, "Ash," questioned my identification and immediately assumed it was fake simply because she felt I didn't look old enough. While she later explained that a coworker had been fired over an incorrect ID check, that situation had nothing to do with me and didn't justify the way I was treated. I was then made to wait about 10-15 minutes for a manager to review my ID. The manager also claimed it might be fake because he was unfamiliar with the issuing state. Instead of resolving the situation professionally, he involved on-duty police officers to verify it. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, my ID was finally confirmed as valid. To make matters worse, after all that time, my order was still incorrect. I received boneless wings instead of bone-in, and the overall service was extremely slow. It took far too long to get anyone's attention or receive assistance. This entire situation significantly cut into the time I had already paid for to play games, which made the experience even more frustrating. Overall, the service was inefficient, unprofessional, and disappointing. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. please teach your staff how to Read Identification cards , it's no reason an officer should be needed to authenticate an ID if the establishment is selling alcohol.

  Service was the worst I've ever experienced in life anywhere & I am not exaggerating. I purchased 1 henny & coke but would've ordered at least 2 more during our visit had we not had a hard enough time tracking down a server for drinks & food orders. Then servers just stand around or walk by looking at you and not offer any assistance. My grandson needed a to go box and it took us 15 minutes from the time we paid the bill & asked for the box, then after waiting at table for the to go box finally going to the bar to get the box & waited 20 more minutes while servers continously walked pass looking you in the face & offering no assistance. I literally had to make a scene to get a to go box. Not exaggerating not 1 bit. Next time we will go eat elsewhere before going to Dave & Busters to enjoy the gaming experience.

  Loud place, but that's expected in a busy arcade. Bring noise cancelling headphones if this is an issue. Both times I've visited, the restaurant areas were full of people or dirty tables. Food was okay. Service was pretty slow, so I didn't opt for even attempting to eat there the second time. Not that I am complaining, I know it's tough when it's super busy, but I just didn't want to spent the time waiting for a table, then the server, then the food. The games were fun, but a good handful were broken and robbed you of your credits/tickets you should have earned. Two games said I had no credits on my card when I did. A handful of the games take forever to load the winning tickets to your card and you can't play again until it finishes. The prize room held nothing of much excitement, and everything that was kinda cool was majorly expensive ticket-wise. I'm talking 5000-10,000+ tickets. I only made about 3300 tickets after spending $50+ on credits, and that's with winning 2 separate jackpots. But I guess this is what arcades have become. Maybe they just aren't for me anymore. Feels like their soul has been taken away.
