- RYRoad To Recovery With YouJan 1, 20261.0The first person that greeted me did a great normal job of giving me what I selected, the pico was old after seeing it in my bowl, I work in customer service so everything is fine up to there, but when I went to pay that’s where the problem occurred. I don’t know if it was the manager that helped me because he was ordering people around, but when I went to pay the credit card option I hit decline because I was going to pay in cash, the manager tells me the total and I’m going into my wallet to grab the cash he keeps yelling out cash cash like hold on, I’m grabbing it I had to tell him to hold on, he was extremely rude seemed young which makes no excuse for it, then proceeds to drop the change on the counter. Bad experience but just shows you anyone can get a job and have any title without being qualified for it.

The problem comes when there are multiple team members standing around and just allowing a customer to awkwardly just stand there without any acknowledgement. No we will be right with you, we will be with you shortly, just acting like I was not there. Yes, you have to attend to the customer you are helping, but a head nod, a smile, a carrier pigeon, anything to show that the customer is valued is critically important to maintain the integrity of the business. I left. I am learning to spend my money where I am wanted! I don't go to Chipotle often anymore and I think I am going to stay with that trend. In the past I spent hundreds annually. These days, I may get two bowls a year! I don't know the future of my relationship with Chipotle, because service is important 👀👀👀
