However, today (11/17/25) while attempting to get items at the deli counter, I waited for nearly 25-30 minutes only to be yelled at about how the item I wanted was not in the back, had to be taken from the display case, and that it would cause the associate to get in trouble. The customer before me had a similar experience with the associate complaining about items not being in back. This was not a good customer experience at all, and I was made to feel as if I did something wrong for simply trying to purchase a half pound of deli meat. Sharing this feedback in the hopes that someone can review customer service protocol with said associate and, perhaps, increase staffing in that area.

They were truly wonderful — my wife and I received excellent customer service from them. Even though they were busy with other tasks, they were warm, attentive, and served us with genuine smiles. I wanted to buy 20 Portuguese rolls, but the ones I found were already cold. I approached the bakery area and asked if they could bake a few more so they would be fresh and crispy. At that moment, they were thoroughly cleaning the entire area, yet Marcus kindly smiled and told me it was no problem and that he could bake some extra rolls for me. Since the bread would come out hot and could get soggy in a plastic bag, Cousi thoughtfully went to get a paper bag from the front desk to prevent that issue. Thank you both so much — you are true professionals, and it’s clear that this Giant store has warm, dedicated people working here. A+ service!
