The food at Chaska was very disappointing. We ordered the paratha burger and chicken karahi. The karahi was mostly onions with only a few small pieces of chicken — it didn’t even feel like real karahi. The paratha burger was very small and overpriced. On top of that, the customer service was poor. Overall, the experience was not good at all.

Nice atmosphere and decor. The food we ordered was good, a bit overpriced. It is a self-serve place with a chill vibe. Restaurant is on the second floor and has a rooftop area with a fire pit.

I usually use the auto carry-out service, but I've been hit with a service fee a couple of times and I'm not sure why. I just pick up my food, and that’s it! I asked some coworkers, and they've had the same issue—even though they haven’t used the service, they still got charged. Isn’t that a bit sketchy?

Decided to explore the paratha smash here. It was amazingly well done. We went a little before regular lunch on a Saturday. Then place was empty (though later many more people arrived), and we had no trouble finding seating. Mr. Abdullah welcomed us and prepared an excellent burger for us. They are making everything from scratch in-house and the flavors show. The paratha smash was done just right. The burger patty was delicious and the sauces they added flavorful. The highlight was the paratha bun, that is flaky and delicious and also not too oily. Overall a great combo. We ended up having another round of these. So that good. The decor is nice, a bit rough around the edges, but a good attempt. We also got the Chapli kabobs to go, which turned out decent. But the paratha smash is a clear winner here. Stop by. It’s a good place for some fund desi food.

I went here hoping for a quality dinner with my wife yesterday. I was severely disappointed. Firstly the table arrangement was very disorganized, and unclean upon arrival. There was barely any room to get to the booth that we ended up sitting at, as it was the only one available. When we sat down there was mess splattered on the table. An employee there was preparing a table for reservation and did clean ours after I asked him as he was walking away. He was kind, but tables should already be orderly and clean for all guests, not just reserved tables. Secondly the food quality, service and ordering system is lacking. To begin with, their technology doesn't seem to work. The message printed when we used their ordering kiosk stated I should get a text when my food is ready, instead I needed to wait to hear my name shouted across the restaurant. I never got a text. The system shouldn't state one thing, and then something else happens instead. The food takes way too long to be made. I understand that fresh, quality food needs time and attention. But, the time it took to prepare what we were served isn't justifiable. We waited 40+ minutes for two samosas, two fries, and two sandwiches. It doesn't take 40 minutes to make these items while ensuring quality and freshness, not for a good restaurant at least. Once we finally recieved our food we were especially disappointed. To start with, the samosas smelled like chicken, which they shouldn't, they're veggie samosas. We suspect they were fried in the same oil as chicken, which is not good practice for a restaurant. I ordered my sandwich with no sauce, and my wife ordered with no pickles. Neither of the modifications were done. To top it off, my wife's sandwich was made with a comically small piece of chicken, the size of a chicken strip. When I asked at the counter to re-make the sandwiches, I was told there are other customers who placed orders and they will not expedite remaking the food that was made incorrectly. At that point, I was fed up, asked for a refund and left. I was not going to wait 1 hour or more for below average food, after already waiting. The restaurant clearly doesn't care about their customers and serving quality food based on this experience.
